What is River of Life actually like?
River of Life (or, ROL as we sometimes like to call it) is a very casual and people focussed church. We have services several times per week to feed our love of Christ. We pray, we sing and we fellowship. ROL has many small and large groups to join to stay connected with other believers that help you grow further and discover even more about your faith.
What are your services like?
Our sunday morning services (at 9am), is fairly casual. We won't call you out or make you wear a funny name tag or ask you to raise your hand if you're new. You won't have a problem feeling comfortable in our friendly atmosphere.
Our services usually start out with 4 or 5 songs to worship and praise God. Our songs are of modern worship style with the occasional classic hymn thrown in. We then have a few moments of meet & greet, then news and announcements follow. Sermons will usually last 30-40 minutes. Bring a Bible, or borrow one of ours! We also will usually have Bible verses and other guides displayed on a projector screen for your convenience or if you don't know the songs we sing.
How Long are Your Services?
Our services generally last one and a half hours. 9:00am to 10:30am.
Is your Church "family friendly"?
Absolutely! The majority of our congregation is comprised of families, large and small. All are welcome at ROL. During Church services, we offer child care services with qualified and caring adults.
We also have many family centered gatherings and group studies such as Marriage Seminars, Ladies Tea Gatherings, Pot luck lunch and dinners and more.
